    Carbon Buildup (crappy pictures)

Well i did my ls6 swap the other day and made a discovery, it looks like i have some pretty darn bad carbon build up on my heads. I dont even want to see my pistons.. The car runs like a freakin champ though. Im gonna give it a good seafoam cleaning really soon. The guy before had the intake off for some reason and he used some instagasket around each intake(no idea why) but i cleaned all that up before putting on the new intake. These pictures are pre-cleaning. Heres pictures from my cell phone, it usually takes much better and bigger pictures but i think cus my memory is filling up it downsized everything. You can get the idea though. Could it be possible he ran nitrous before and it caused this?

I love the new intake though, it did make a difference. It feels like the car breathes so much better throughout the rpms.

Did you retune for the intake swap? If not, you should just to maximize hp and fuel economy. Ah, nevermind the fuel economy.............LOL

Was there oil in the intake when you removed it? If so, add a catch can. Should help with the carbon. Your pics look pretty normal to me tho. Never seen a spotless engine inside.
