    cams, heads want power!!!

I have a 2000 ta i just went to a place called EFI Alchemy for estements on my car i plan on putting about 10 into the car. They told for start the best thing to do was to start out with a cam, heads, changing the stock 27 pound injectors to 42 pound injectors, tune and so suspention mods. I am stock under the hood I have a spec stage 3+, 9 inch rear end with 4:10, detroit lockers. Any suggestions?

I would build your drive train and suspension first. You have a great start with your clutch and rear. Do you have SFCs, LCAs, LCA relocation brackets, or a TA?

Are you a M6 or A4? Is this a DD? Guessing no if you have a locker. Maybe not.

Did you go top the EFI Alchemy down here in the Jacksonville area in Green Cove Springs? Its the only one I knew of but maybe theres more. Anyway Doc at the one down here really knows his stuff and doesnt rip people off either, I would trust what he says.

Yeah they are great guys over there. Anything I cannot do myself gets done there. They have a great rep for a reason. Doc really knows his shit too. I will be in there with in the next few weeks for a dual nitrous/na tune and a few other things.

If you do the heads/cam, plan on an upgraded intake manifold if you do not already have one. LS6 or a FAST will help you get the most power out of your motor. Your stock ls1 manifold will starve a modified motor.

Wish I had 10 to put into my car!
