cam and supercharger
i was looking at this cam -- http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=180278762076
and i almost jumped on it because it LOOKS like a good deal... sometimes im a sucker so i decided to ask the pros at LS1.com. i have a centrifugal sc running 5lbs of boost atm, planning to go to 8 very soon and i was wondering if this cam would help me out or hurt me. Specs are 218/228 .525/.525 on a 112 lsa. any info is much appreciated. im looking for that awesome idle with a good power increase, but my car is also a daily driver. thanks in advance

I can tell you right now you'll make more power with the stock cam over the hotcam with your blower. Not that a cam isn't a bad idea but you would need a blower cam with a wider lobe spread. Cause the 112 LSA on that cam will bleed off cylinder pressure/boost from the blower.
