Cam Suggestions? Opinions

I am looking to upgrade my cam

Goals are to have a fast as fuck(low 12s) street car(DAILY DRIVER) on STREET TIRES.

So far I have

99 Trans Am WS6 (6-speed)
LS6 Heads
LS6 Intake
Pacesetter LTs
SLP Lid
Borla Exhaust
Sub Frame Connectors
Torque Arm
Rear lower control arm
STOCK REAR END


Options I have been presented with so far are...

228/232 .600/.600 112+5
230/230 .600/.600 112+4
231/231 .617/.617 111+2
232/232 .624/.600 111+2

Any comments, thoughts or other opinions would be great!! I want to know what will work with my current setup, I dont have the money to get a new rear end and will NEVER be running slicks(DRs). At least not ANYTIME SOON!

wowzers...well there are a few problems. 1 the ls6 while a great intake will limit you when you are looking at radical cams. 2 is your goal is not hard to reach with a HCI ls1..the problem comes that you are a m6 and you have stock rear end..on top of that your traction will be almost non-existent

Engine Power Systems cams,or ed curtis street sweeper cam,lots of torque.you have a 6- speed ,you get to go through the motors power band 6 times.wish I had a 6-speed.

Are you working with a shop or tuner? Call some places (comp, tsp, thunder, cammotion etc) and give them your specs, current mods, and goals and you will be able to really narrow it down. I know its a tough process trying to decide on one but ultimately its up to you...

any one of those cams should get you into the 12's..

he should already be in the 12's with the mods he has. its getting to low 12's that will take a serious cam with no other mods

Cam and the right tune and you should be low 12's.
