Looking for opinions on the cam specs for my 2002 Firehawk - I'm building a 402 forged stroker with 12 psi of boost from a Procharger.95% street driven,but will go the Drag Strip several times this summer.Elevation is 3400 ft.This a a4 transmission with a 3200 stall 1.9 str.Also installing a 9" Moser with 3.73 gears plus a 1000 hp drive shaft.Cam specs are 233 intake/244 exhaust-609 lift on both. Built on a 114 center.The timing chain is adjustable so it may end up being 112 actual center.I was hoping to be real street friendly.Thanks

what is the lobe separation angle (LSA)? if it's the 114 you wrote, you cannot change the LSA by moving the cam. by advancing/retarding the cam, you are changing the intake centerline (ICL). the ICL and LSA are usually the same. ICL is the peak of the intake lobe.

That just goes to show my knowledge of cams.So having said what you said,is this cam street friendly,but still building power?Thanks for putting up with my lack of knowledge.
