Red- 1999 Ram Air Trans Am
which cam should I use?228-228 or 232-234 duration
I narrowed my choice between these 2 cams.Comp cam 281 RPM HI-LIFT with 228-230 duration and .571 lift with 112 lobe separation with power band between 2200-7200 rpms and the other COMP cam is 228-228 duration with .588 lift and 112 lobe separation with power band between 1600-6400 rpm.I want to use a 112 lobe separation so I get a nice choppy idle but not sure which one of these cams I should use for the street.I have long tube headers, slp airbox,6-speed,4:11 gears, thyphoon 85 mm intake manifold, ported throttle body, off road y-pipe,borla catback exhaust, fast toys lower ram air, granitelli mass air flow sensor and sub frame connectors.Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

228/228, 232/234, 228/230, I'm reading 3 cams... Either of these three should get you a choppy idle, if that's your main goal.

Black- 2002 SS Camaro
I would get the one with a higher power band because if you look at it from a distance. Your 4.11's will be making up for that low end power loss. That way you have an all around performer.

NBM Z28- 2002
Go with the 232/234. Because once you spend the money and see how civil driving a 228 is, you wish you would have went bigger.
