Cam Question - Bigger Engines?
I was wondering on bigger displacement engines (as per a 511ci LSX) would a mild cam for an LS1 be mild for the 511ci LSX?
224/224 .563/.563 112 LSA = mild
242/248 .608/.612 110 LSA = radical
I figure the numbers will be different for higher displacement engines but which variables on the camshaft will change?

Red Tint Jewelcoat- 2008 Trailblazer SS
It would be even more mild in a larger cubed motor.

the larger the displacement, the more it absorbs duration. look at the cam for the LS7 motor. 210/230. sounds tame.

Yep. A bigger-cube motor will swallow a much larger cam with less effects on streetability. The 246/248 in my 383 has virtually the same manners as the 234/236 cam I had with stock cubes.
