Black- 2000 Corvette
Cam/heads??? A Little Help Please???
My set-up:
2000 C5 Juiced with 200/250 shot of Nos, ligenfelter fuel system, Hobbs safety switch, -2 colder spark plugs, Blackwing intake, Borla Stinger exhaust, short throw shifter.
Now, I am thinking about fist putting on a Head/Cam combo, then later getting the Dynatech Headers/Cats put on.
I'd like to get some suggestions as to what Cam/Head combo to go with (maximum HP and Torque please). It looks to me like the 225 AFR (?) heads are a good option at around $2,700. Are they're any other (cheaper) options? I am not looking to sacrifice power for discounts****
Anyhow, feedback on my "performance progression plan" are welcome. Other ways you'd go about getting your Vette up to the 450 rwhp mark NA?
Thanks!!

black- 2000 nhra edition formula
ill suggest headers before heads and cam. if you dont, youll be lucky to see half the true horsepower of the heads and cam because the car is being chocked.
a 225 is overkill for a stock displacement motor.
the 205s with a lg5x3 cam, fast intake with a 90mm throttle body will have you around 450 rwhp.
or look for a used supercharger.2000 nhra edition formula
a few bolt ons, 379 rwhp
