which cam to get
i was just wondering what would be a good cam for some good power gains but still be a decent daily driver. i am not too interested in taking my car to the track. also i was wondering what intake manifolds, headers and exhaust systems you guys like and a good combo with a cam. also what other mods like timing chain and stuff like that would i need to make with the new cam. thanks for the help.

depends on what u consider "good power gains" and what constitutes a "decent daily driver". just get a ls6 manifold unless u already have one (they cam on 01, and 02 models) as far as exhaust goes, it depends on what u wanna spend..
with most cams u need to upgrade ur valvetrain and u'll need a good tune

black- 2000 nhra edition formula
as for a cam for a daily driver, if youre an automatic trans, get the 224/224 cam kit
if youre a manual get the 228/228 cam kit.
as for headers, pacesetter coated long tubes with a catless y pipe, ls6 manifold, ls2 timimg chain and ported oil pump.
also youre youre an auto trans, get a stall converter in the 3000-3500 rpm range.2000 nhra edition formula
a few bolt ons, 379 rwhp
