    Cam Advice

Hey guys, i recently bought the BBK chrome LT's and ORY, Now I'm looking to a cam swap. Ive done my reading and searching and I'm looking for a cam that will give that choppy idle, increase torque and HP but not sound over-aggressive and not kill my MPG as its a DD. Its a 00 WS6, with the M6.It sees the strip occasionally on weekends.

I'm thinking the TR224 package. How does that do with MPG and performance increases? Also Ive seen some stuff that you have to replace the springs every 30k-40k miles?

I'm not sure about the springs... but I went with a TSP 228R cam, 114 LSA. Sounds cammed for sure, but not overly aggressive. I didn't care much about MPG so I can't comment there.

I would recommend calling TSP and getting some advice, they really helped me out. I love the 228R but would probably go more aggressive now after a few years.

I'd recommend a 228 also...as for the spring life, the higher your lift is the spring gets worked harder. The right set of springs need to be setup right to get the most life out of them.
