then u dont need a cam. you need exhaust before you do a cam. if you dont wanna go that route and want a cam that will work with the stock exhaust, then look at getting a ls6 cam. its built for the stock exhaust. Ragtop_99 on tech got a cam ground for the stock exhaust too and put down some pretty good power under the curve (its where he wanted his power) not just looking for peak numbers

you need to have a goal. what are you trying to accomplish with the cam? do u want it just for peak numbers? power throughout the rpms? How much are you willing to sacrifice? Are you getting it tuned? What kind of racing are you doing if any? Are you going to do heads? Do you want a cam recommended or do you want to learn about them and pick what you think would be best? I could just tell you depending on what you answer to go with X cam, but it may or may not meet your exact needs. If you just want a cam, dont wanna research, one that will pass emissions (or at least should and has in the past) then Id suggest to just get a 224 114 cam and be done with it.

like Nino said go with a 224 and be done w/it like me. I have a Comp Cam 224/224 .581/.581 112lsa and made 25rwhp and 14rwtq over what I had before the cam install. I now have MAC mids on my floor at home waiting for the LS6 intake I just bought to get here so I can have them installed and then retuned. Check out my sig for any friendly assistance. Don't be afriad to pick Nino's brain either, the man knows his stuff well, he's answered very detailed, everything I've thrown his way.
