cam
hey i am thinking of puting a cam into my 2002 ws6. i curently have a full exhaust and a volant air intake. i am not really looking to put it in for the hp, i just love the sound! i was told to buy a bigger throttle body and air intake manifold. so i am going with F.A.S.T. can i buy a cam that will give me the sound without haveing to replace other internal parts? if so what size, brand, cost if posible. thanks

If you are looking for the lopey sound get a 112 LSA cam.
The TSp 228r @ 112 LSA is a mild cam with a nice sound. Here is a clip of a friend of mines 35thLE with that cam in it. You can see all his other mods in the info panel of vid.

You may have to replace heads with this cam but am not very sure. I am not the best to ask on this but I think TSP told me all I would really have to replace is pushrods with this cam since it is not wild.

If your more interested in sound vs performance gains, I would look in Comps Thumpr line of cams.

Whatever cam you do choose run the exhaust thru a cutout under the car and your cam will sound even lopier than run all the way out the back.
