im not an expert but ive been reading alot about cams lately as i am getting ready to buy one. that cam is pretty mild so the idle wont be too rough. the 112 lsa is going to give you a choppier idle whereas the 114 will be smoother.

that's a really mild cam. The hotcam is like 218/228 .525/.525 if memory serves me correctly so you're in hotcam territory. On a 112 it'll be a little choppy but not much. Why not go a little bigger on your cam to say a 224/224 and make more power and still have good drivability with a good tune? I will say the hotcam and cams like it do fit a niche and for some people that's enough.

im using one of my friend's hptuners program to do the tuning....it took me alittle while to get it to idle, but its my first time, ive been working on it alittle at a time over the last few days and am getting it closer to where i want it, but only took an hour or so to get it running. i love it so far and when i get it peaked out i think il really love it

As the others stated, the cam you've selected is very mild -- hence it wouldn't have much of an effect on driveability. The 112 LSA will produce a choppier idle than the 114. If your primary concern is adding a little performance with driveability, check out a 224/224 on a 113 or 114 LSA, although those cams on a 112 would still be quite street friendly with a tune -- one of the greatest benefits of the 112 LSA would be the sound of the exhaust with a little chop in the idle.
