Good stall should come before a cam swap anyway.

+1. In an auto the 2 go together. Especially with a larger cam.

hows that 228r work with a 6-speed, with long tubes, big y-pipe, a bigger MAF, and a lid. it is my DD. but from the specs i think it will be perfect. i'm usually cruising around 2000 RPM so i think its goin to be like a sweet set of tits. plus what valve springs do you recommend? thanks guys

The cam I have in my car is almost a 228r instead it is 226/228 .585/.588 on a 112 lsa. Car usually sees about 1000 miles a month as my daily and other then a few tempermental cold starts it is just fine (that and it does draw some attention with the true duals ). I went with the Patriot gold springs lots of bang for your dollar with either the PRC or Patriot springs.
