Bought a used cam, need to know specifics about it

So I bought a MS3 cam used. On Texas Speed's website it says this cam comes in three different LSAs (112, 113, 114). How do I tell which one it is? I looked at the engravings on the end and it says 25-MS3 i8682-06.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

    Thanks for your suggestions.

Unfortunately the seller doesn't know. I would call Texas Speed but since it's the weekend I'll have to wait until the start of the week. I was wondering if there was any way to tell just by looking at what's engraved on it w/o a cam card.

    Where in CA are you?

Take it to any machine shop that has a Cam Dr. and they will tell you everything about it, including it's straightness and lobe measurements from lobe to lobe.
You would be amazed at the variances from a quality brand to the cheap shit.......

Wouldn't it be easier just to call Texas Speed on Monday and give them the # engraved on it?

yeah, they can match it up by part number but what ls2tuner is saying a cam dr will be able to tell him much more about that cam. My vote is to take it to a cam doctor.

yeah get it checked out professionally, cuz if its bent or has a low spot, calling texas speed wont help to find that.

    Thanks for the replies everyone!

I'm in the Bay Area. I don't know of any machine shop with a Cam Doctor, guess I'll have to pull out the yellowpages and start making some calls.
