    blown head gasket

    well got in it this morning to got the store and started it up and white smoke comming out of the tail pipes soo time for me to do what iv been wanting to do anyways engine is comming out and ls6 intake,new clutch, headers, and maybe a cam of such

    That's the way to do it, take a repair and make it an upgrade.

    ok well after looking at this more closely i noticed a lil water about the #5 injector so i decided to pull the spark plug and well it was wet ok fine so i pull the other 4 and there all dry pull the other side all dry so my ? is wtf is going on here ?

    That's probably your cylinder with the leak.

    Are you saying you also had water on the injector, I.E. on the out side of the engine? Kinda confused on your confusion lol. Also what was the plug wet with, fuel, oil, coolant? Can you do a compression test for us? Hope that helps.

    Right on brother, So that just means that was your cylinder affected by the bad head gasket, So your original plan sounds solid to me too.

    jay you where right it was the cylinder that was affected by it alright so much so that the sleeve and the water jacket on #5 was cracked so block= junkyard

    Well Mr. Badass I will make the same recomendation I do (and Mr. Grigo is the one that sold me on it.)all the time. Steel block, 5.3 heads, all the other variables will be dependent on money, your own capabilities, and how anal you are.

    I currently am building one and 150 for the block and 200 for the heads. If I was younger neither one would go to the machine shop.
