Pewter- 2000 Pontiac Trans am M6
Big baller high hp builders help me choose rods an
I am looking to have about 9.5:1 compression on a 2000 ls1 block and about 700 hp this summer with a turbo build and hoping to have 900 next year. I want to keep it a 346ci with stock crank for now. I am looking to spend about $1000-$1500 on rods and pistons (cheaper the better, but not in quality) and $500 for bearings, rings, gaskets, etc.
This is going to be my DD on 93, I have all sorts of electronic ideas and contraptions for my turbo build
Thanks, John

I like Mahle pistons.
Lunati rods.
ARP rod bolts.
And you will be looking at a 347 when the hone is done.

My 404 has =
Mahle -12cc forged dish pistons
Eagle 6.125 4340 forged H-beam rods
Eagle 4.000 4340 forged crank 24x reluctor
ARP Main Studs
Mahle rings
King bearing
I have it in the goat but need a few more hours wrench time before I'll be ready to fire it up

I ran through a lake of a puddle, suck a bunch of water up the cold air intake and blew #7 rod out the side of the block and bottom of the pan... So now its got a bigger better motor going in
Hope to test fire it in the morning
