    Best Cam for LS6

What is the best cam to install for a stock LS6? I want to install a better cam without changing heads, springs or pushrods. I want to be able to drive it on the streets and also the drag strip.
    Its an A4.

Do you have an A4 or a M6? Changing the cam needs a tune for an A4. I personally would not change a cam out without at the very least getting chromoly pushrods.

Take a look at TR website: http://www.thunderracing.com/catalog...&vid=7&pcid=51

I would probably go with one of the ones below since you aren't going to be changing the springs. Going anymore aggressive could warrant problems especially if you are a higher mileage vehicle.

    Stock GM LS6 Cam: 204/218 .551/.541 117.5 LSA

    TR Part #: Specifications:
    99-TR214/220-115-2 214/220 .600/.523 115 LSA
    99-TR220/220-112 220/220 .551/.551 112 LSA
    99-TR220/220-114 220/220 .551/.551 114 LSA
Mods: FAST 90mm, Nick Williams 90mm TB, TR 230/224 .581/.567 111 LSA, CC 921 springs, Hooker LTs, Hooker ORY, SLP Loudmouth, Eibach Pro Kit, Billstein HD, Baer Eradispeed, Whisper Lid, BMR SFCs, BMR Adj. LCAs, BMR reloc. brackets, HPTuners. 418HP/390ft-lbs rearwheel on a DynoJet.

Your stock valvesprings can barely handle your stock cam.
If you don't want to swap valvesprings, you shouldn't change your cam.
