    automatic cam

    just wondering what would be a good cam for an automatic . have a lopey idle and good performance but still be easy on the engine and gas any suggestions ?

    Id get comp cam, maybe intense? Manley pushrods, ect.

    Or texas speed cam!

    there not a big well known company but yeah.

    I just threw the ones that are quiet well known.

    Look at reveiws and overall star rating. See if anyone else has it installed for the ls1.
    Goodluck, post some videos if you do get an cam.

    220R, 224R, and 228R and good DD cams with 220R being the best in gas, gains about 30hp for the 220R and 45hp to the 228R

    Buy stall convertor first, at least 3500 rpm. that will open up many more cam choices. With a stock you are really limited to "RV and Truck cams" as they are called to older style engines.
