I use Amsoil and is a great oil. But there is Oil that are great oils for cheaper. Pennsoil Platnium is one is great for the price. Just use the proper weight 5w30/10w30 and you will be good to go with no oil related issues. But myself still will use Amsoil in my daily driver and my car which I beat on at the track regularly.

Thanks for the read KahanaReef. I went to www.bobisoilguy.com, lots of info.
zmg00camaross, I am with you, I think I will stick to the Amsoil 5w30. How often do you change the oil? I garage my T/A in the winter.

i run AmsOil in everything i have, car, truck, 2 quads, and my motorcycle. never had any problems. i get it for a good price so the XL stuff is usually quite a bit cheaper than most off the shelf synthetics

Thats how I look at it. It cost more now, but will save in the long run. Plus it is just better oil in your vehicles. How much can you get it for? My local auto parts charges 10.99 a quart.

Yeah, I thought it was rediculous 10.99. I asked for the best they had, so I expected it to be expensive. I would like to sign up for PC. I want to use Amsoil in my silverado and equinox. They are both due. CompSyn, I will call today to get signed up. Unless you have a specific way you want me to do so.

Not too much better, it's still just a group 3 "synthetic".

i order it and have it delivered. with shipping its the same price as running mobil 1. except it doesnt have the bad track record that m1 has with me. too much vibration andlots more noise than i was comfortable with with m1. it occurred about 500 mi after the fresh swap. switched to pennzoil platinum(same price as m1 here). no problems with excessive noise and vibration. switched to amsoil due to same pricing after shipping. discounts on decent filters(oil and air). with pp and/or amsoil i have yet to have any problems. been about a full year since i got my first case of amsoil though. i have no uoa's, and i havent noticed anything different between pp and amsoil. but i do easily hold pp and amsoil to a higher standard than m1
