Advice on Go Fast Goodies
I have currently a tr224 .563 114 lsa cam now with ls6 intake, full exhaust, 3400 stall, and some others. I bought a set of used ported heads that have 225cc intake and 82cc exhaust that flow at 290cfm @.600 intake and cant remember the exhaust side. I am also getting a fast 90/90 combo and not sure what size cam to use. I dont drive it much anymore but driveability is important. Just wondering what setups you guys are running that are close to what I want. My rwhp goal is 420-440.

black, 05 Roush- black, 99 T/A WS.6
SWT00SS is running a similar spec.d cam with ported stg. 2 LS6 heads with fast 90/90 and is around 440rwhp but he is a M6 also so I would say with the heads you got and the fast 90/90 if you got a cam in the mid to lower 230 duration you would be pretty close to your goal. not positive though.

I might go ahead and do a torquer v2 cam, but not sure about lsa. I want the sound of a 112, but the driveability headaches that accompanies it. Would a 113 be ok middle ground or just stick with a 114. Thanks for the advice guys, much appreciated.

Who is tuning and how good is this person? My cam is on a 112. The first time it was installed it was awful!! It stalled all the time, and took for ever just to get it to idle and run. So I whent looking for another tuner. I found this guy who has tuned my friend gillbot's car and it is an A4 and on a 110lsa and it does not stall and fires right up on the first try. I had this guy tune my car,and it starts right up even if its below 20deg outside. It drives close to stock.I have a new cam going in and its on a 111 lsa, well actually between 111 and 112. I would take a ride in a few cars with diff size cams/lsa and determine what is streetable for you and find a good tuner. My first tuner had difficulties. He said it was his first time with a 98. The new guy I hired drives a 98 so it was not a problem for him
