    98 pcv question

I'm swapping my 98 heads for the center bolt 5.3's. The valve covers I got are different. The passenger side cover is missing the rear fitting for the crossover tube. I don't want to convert to the LS6 pcv so I'm trying to figure out a non-ghetto way of making these work without looking ghetto. The baffles on the underside of the covers makes it tough to do much as far as drilling and putting in a fitting for the crossover. I also don't really want a breather sticking out of the cap. Any other ideas?
I've thought about drilling a hole into the side of the fill tube below the cap and putting a fitting there to connect the crossover to. I could do it down low on the tube so it wouldn't stick out to much. Think it would look ok? I'm just out of ideas and am not real crazy about cutting on the block and converting to the LS6 style valley cover.

I just did a similar swap.

The original right valve cover has 2 vents, and the left only has one. The new ones only have one vent on each side.

What I did was pull the rear vent off of the original valve cover, and measured the hole. I think 25/64 is what mine was. Then you will have to find the casting mark on the replacement right valve cover. Mine was on the side instead of the top. Drill the hole, and pressed in the vent pipe. Some cutting of the original hard plastic tubing is necessary. When I was done, it looked just like before. Notice on the Right that the PVC valve is in the original location.

All I did on my '98 Vette was buy a PCV valve and cut the bottom out to get rid of the check valve. Works perfectly w/the newer style center bolt valve covers.
