    5.3L VS. LS1 Heads?

    Hey was wonderin what the difference between the 5.3L heads and the LS1 Heads and is there an increase in hp if switched out??

    5.3 L heads have a smaller chamber (61cc vs 67cc) and will up the compression to 10.75:1 The stock 5.3 valves are smaller than the LS1 valves so a valve job is a must.
