408 cam
i plan on doing a 408 also with the AFR 225's. what would be a good radical cam to put in there? Also.. what are the pros/cons to doing a solid roller vs. hyd. roller? im planning on spraying eventually and basically want to have a street brawler. i just had 4.30s put in the 12 bolt so thats the gear i'll be running. thanks

Red Tint Jewelcoat- 2008 Trailblazer SS
4.30's??? That will need changed if you race it. 3.73 or 3.90.
With my 402, 4.11's, and 26" tires, I max out at 124 MPH in 4th gear. I can trap higher than 124 MPH at sea level. Went 4.11's because I run 5800 feet above sea level 99.9% of the time.
My cam is a Texas Speed 248/254 629/622 113 in my all motor 402.
