239/247 cam
I have a 383 with 215 trickflows, 11.1 comp fast 92`s and my machinest picked out a thunder racing cam 239/247, .624 lift and a lsa 114. Has anyone used this cam before?

what are your goals with the car? you will obliviously lose power with the 114 lsa but you will pick up driveability. that sounds like a weird grind to me though. i'd call comp cams and get a custom grind

The cam is already in the motor and payed for. I was just wanting to know what I could expect from this cam. I thought the lsa was a little high myself.

with a cam that size the 114lsa will still have a decent overlap so it should work pretty good for you.

The motor and tranny are in the car. I haven`t hooked anything but the driveshaft and it looks like It is about 1" to short. I am waiting for the header guy to call me for some custom header to be made. I`ve had a base tune installed on the computer.
