The Z after Clay
After seeing rides on here that have been clayed, I just had too and here are the results.
I used the Mothers California Gold kit. It included Clay, Lubrication, and Carnauba Wax.02 Avalanche
99 Z28, Hot Cam, Lid, K&N, LS6 Srings, Bellow, Ported TB, Polished Maf, 2800 Yank, Cut Out, 3:42's

do you use anything special on your headlight lens ???? And very nice job on the car ...

Thanks! I tried a restoration kit but it did not work, the camera makes them look better than they are in person. I'm going to buy some halos when I get some extra $

I show you a pic of my lights on my MARK VIII after I get that mothers buffer ball thing .. I am not going to get new lens for her .. 1 ..reason I am getting them cleaner ..2 they are $400 a side ...lol..
All this clay baring makes me want to do it to the T/A ...

It did not take very long, maybe 1.5 - 2.0 hours and the results are worth it.

i used a clay bar on my porsche and my orange k5 blazer and was not dissapointed. the best way to keep that car clean after that is the meguires detailer spray (smells like cinnimon).

That clay does wonders.
If you guys are looking for some killer stuff to clean your plastic lenses,try the Novus Polish Kit, Plastic Polish & Scratch Remover it's the best stuff out there.

My life is a- Ben Stiller movie.
i bought the same kit and mine just melted under the sunlight...had to pack it up before the clay dissentigrated all over the car

It was over 100 deg in my garage and it held up fine. I would have been pist if it melted.
