Showing or hiding license plates?

How can you cover license plate on photo bucket?
Why do some cover their license plates why others dont?
wats harm in leaving em uncovered?
Maybe some of you can enlighten the subject?
well since i took bunch a photos w/licenses showing and since i cant figure how to save pics w license #'s covered.
dont know if ill just take tons more with em covered or just send em out with license plate showing

Pictures you see with hidden license plates have been edited after the fact with some type of photo editing software. (i.e. using a white paintbrush stroke to "paint" over the numbers)

I suppose if someone wanted to they could get your license plate number and track you to your registered address, but I ain't scurred so I don't cover mine.

posting pics w/out obscuring the license plate # is bad OPSEC in general... not that the boogie man will get you, but why put personal info out there when there's no need for it in the first place.. w/ local governments making so many public records available online, it's easy enough to find out who it's registered to, where you live, then how much you paid for your house, etc,...

i dont cover mine.. even if i post my addres it would be very hard to find it.. ups and fedex get lost to get here lol
