Thanks guys. The scenery is hard to beat. Trying to get it in the background of a pic can be hard. Since I'm not driving the birds or solstice down our dirt roads. Lol

Nice cars. So what is your racing season, like 2-3 months a year?

We race from mothers day through labor day. But our weather can change fast so we get cancelled with rain at times.

And our track does not have a heated launch pad and uses minimal vht prep.

Yeah, minimal prep is the norm for test and tunes at pretty much all tracks.

Haha. That's why I'm glad my radials hook up so good. I'm sure on a prepped track I've got a 9.50 in the black bird on that tune up, since both the vp fuels local dealer and I are certain that there's still some wheel slippage on most weekends. He did the prep over the 4th of July weekend and there was a new track record set and alot of new personal bests.

    Thanks.
Yeah. I blew the hood off. We figured it went about 40' up.
It's a full lift off and at some point on the pass my front pin came out and all the air flowing through just blew it off. As high as it went it only had very minor stress cracks.
So I ratcheted it back on and drove home 45 miles after that. Lol
