My 99 Z28
I just bought this car two weeks ago, I bought it exactly how you see it. It's pretty much stock except for the Xenon body kit, the stereo system, the short shifter with skip eliminator, and the 3" catback straight piped exhaust. My only complaint is the spoiler is a bit much, besides that I really like it. What do you all think?

Yeah that spoiler does look a little weird, but hey some like it. The car looks good overall though, but whats up with that shifter.
Either way time to put your own personal touch on the car .

The spoiler I think fits pretty well with the overall look of the car. I don't think it's "ricey" I just think it may be a bit too tall. No matter.
As for the shifter knob, the lady I bought the car from said she had a friend make it for her, so I guess it's custom machined. I will probably change the shifter knob when I replace the shifter boot. I will probably (if I get the money together) replace the rear box with that subthump one with the t-tops storage.
All it really needs besides that is new tires and a new front airdam. The one on there is faded and chipped real bad, I can get one off ebay for 200 delivered, and painted for like 100 bucks.
So for around a grand I can put my personal touch on the car. Not too bad, it's already fast enough.Last edited by SailorZ28; 03-20-2006 at 11:09 AM.

I like it, other than the spoiler.

Well she did give me the stock spoiler, but I don't even know how to begin to swap them out. Is it tough to do?

Just remember man, dont change things about your car just because others dont like it. If you like it then thats all that matters, Its your car.

If it wasn't so tall, I'd love it. It just seems a bit too large...reminds me of the late 90's 3000GT VR4 spoiler. Eh, I may be too lazy to change it anyways. I bought it to drive, not spend crazy money/time working on it.
