still need to do all the random bolts for the front clip, water pump and might do the valve covers but IDK yet
worked on the lights a bit last night
still need to get them to a mirror finish
sanded smooth
night shade and first clear
flash fuckes up the pic and there is shit for light
Today I finished painted the water pump and polished the t stat
and installed the starter, torqued down all the trans bolts, header bolts, motor mount bolts, got the plugs in and got all the connectors plugged back up to the block.

Just been working on some Wiring and getting some of the unused wires taken care of. and got a cool little part in today
Lokar throttle cable bracket.
you are supossed to use one of the lokar cables but F that.. with a little bit of ingenuity

Wow. What a HUGE difference. Great looking build to date. I was going to ask you what you had planned on doing for a rear end, but I see you posted that at the very end.
Have you been to the track yet as the car stands now or no?
The LED's under the hood look pretty badass. Nice touch.

I have been to the track but... I suck at launching a M6 w/ a stock 10 bolt on shitty Nitto DRs lol. 12.74 2.1x 60' @115.6
this year I will have the S60 or MWC 9" and some sticky tires cant wait
made 420rwhp threw the 4.10s this past summer at Deans performance open house. I hear their dyno runs 10-15 low but how knows
-
01-25-2012, 08:14 PM #12
I hear you there. I have a 9" with 4.11 gears (M6) and the best 60' time to date on my Nitto DR's was a 1.906...not much better than what I got with street tires
Mickey Thompson's will be going on this spring. Hoping to get down into the 1.6X.
That 116MPH ET is screaming low 12's/high 11's IMO or maybe even a little better if you are geared right with the tire size you end up choosing.
Good luck man!

What are you going to do about the front license plate? I know in IL it's a law to have one (stupid I know).
-
01-25-2012, 08:53 PM #15
Didn't have it on at all last season and had no issues. Even got pulled over a few times for other bs
