it seals very well with the hood....i love it...i had to make a few adjustments to it though....the part that holds the filters and goes through the hole where it connects to the MAF sensor...it kept on gettin loose..so i openned the hole up alittle more and haven't had a problem since...i do need to get some new filters though...u'll enjoy the sound of it...let me know when u get it put on

Can you clean the filters with a K&N cleaning kit? or does Holleyt sell something specific to their filters?

the first time i cleaned them i used the K&N recharger kit...works fine...but takes a little time...but u can get the blue dye from Volant..basically the same thing as the K&N just blue...i can find the website where u can order all the stuff if u need it...the filters aint cheap...retail round $70 each

Why do you need new filters? Do they wear down after time?

And what about the IAT sensor....I've read complaints that it doesn't get an accurate reading sitting in the box like that. I've seen another member on the other board move it to get a more acc reading is this true?

here's what my filters look like now...after the K&N recharger kit....the only reason is because i have the cut out right after the nostrols...i need some new ones as you can tell..i haven't had any problems with mine at all with any readings or anything...just where it kept on gettin loose

should be able to see the filter in the last picture...had to put the camera on nightvision
