And the best thing: They come off! (Happened to me on the freeway at 100 mph, trailing behind on the cable.)

Ok, let's continue in english for the others to enjoy...
Before my Z i had a Dodge Stratus 2.5, then my girl bought a Ford Explorer and of course, I had to have more displacement than her...
Love it, tons of oomph, T-tops, the whole spiel. It's my daily driver, so I dig the mix of comfort and power. And it's defenitely more comfy than a german sportscar!

Yep let's talk in english. My maro is build in 2000 with 56.000 KM on it. Only summer driving. I spend some time on the Nuerburgring Racetrack. I love the LS1 engine, she's an Heartbeat accelerater. And the best is the most poepele here in Germany did't know this car. My daily runner is a Chevy Trans Sport (in the US called Venture)
BTW check this site F-Body-Nation.com
Nice Weekend to all, cu

Cool, I almost wrecked my maro on the Nürburgring, needed a new nose and radiator!
And agreed, this is one exotic ride here in Germany. Most F-Bodys you see are V6 anyway 'cause they're cheaper to keep up.
Liebe Grüße,
Michael

Oh shit you crashed your maro on the Ring. It is the hardest Race Track in the World. I drive there many times.
Jo the most maros are V6. The Kraftfahrtbundesamt (German Department of Transport) says in Germany are around 500 Z28 on the streets.

Yeah, ring... after 3 rounds i was cut off by a biker at metzgesfeld. hit the grass rear right and spun out into the guard rail. wasn't too fast though, just that tiny little bit off the line... but here's the fun part: GM had no radiators, they were on back order even in the states! and it took them weeks to find out after first saying it'd take about 10 days... I ended up getting an aftermarket radiator from rockauto.com. Took 10 days for real and was 100 bucks cheaper...
But it was fun anyway!
Liebe Grüße aus'm Norden
