A friend bought his daughter a.......

    1981 Pontiac Turbo Trans Am

Sorry no engine pics, took me FOREVER to find the hood latch...had to consult the owner's manual . Even after I found it under the front license plate there was a trick to getting it to completely unlatch. Nice car though. I'm kinda jealous...except my SS is faster

2nd worst motor ever put in an f-body.....the #1 was the non-turbo 301. I had a 79 with that 301 in it. slow slow slow slow. I miss my 79 just because of the body style but those years definitely need some help engine wise.

still a rare car, and for "a daughter" possibly first car? pretty badass.

Yeah, I know that now...stupid idea, anybody could get under the hood without unlocking the car, get all the parts they need....hood latch inside the cockpit is a good idea.

I like the sound of a good turbo, but agree that those cars have no guts. They look pretty impressive though, I would love to convert one of those to an LS engine, would be SICK!!

Yeah it's her first car. If she could stay out of trouble, she might be able to drive it someday.
