Looks good. IMO I'd paint that Berger panel black too. Nice ride though

Looks like a Berger car with the stripes on the sides. You don't have much to change. Good looking as is.

    wheel weights? really?

I dont like the stick ons, even though i have used them and had no problems, i just dont like the idea of gluing them on.

i like the ones that clip on the lip... but lets say you have 1 oz on the outside, in the 6 oclock position, you can move it to the inside lip, 12 oclock position, and get the same balancing.

When i used to work in my grandads shop, i always did this for the nicer cars that came in. Most balancers actually have a setting so that itll show you where to put them if you want them all inside, or all outside.

I'm so confused, excuse my lack of mechanical proficiency but what are you talking about? what are wheel weights?

they are the weights the tire shop puts on the wheels to balance em....(mount and balance?) ....next time you get a rotation or new tires see if they will put the lead weights on the inside of the rim instead of the outside to give your wheels a cleaner appearance.

i'm in arlington. the car was 8k I paid 6k my dad covered the rest. I paid for all the repairs(frame damage, smashed quarter panel, leaking trunk, suspension f'ed to hell, interior had ton of missing bits, shit paint, rusted exhaust, tranny mount) and upgrades(intake/exhaust/drag radials/rims) not to mention complete fluid change/plugs/seafoam.Car was down right abused, but now she's safe and sound in my garage) It was definitely a learning experience, I don't think my dad would have let me buy such a fast car w/o having to put work into it in order to gain the respect it deserves. I love it and enjoy driving it everyday

A lot of people would scoff at a car in the condition it was in for that price, but looks like you did a great job fixin it up. It's a cool feeling to have something that nice that you put all the effort into....especially when you're young. Take care if it.

O I know my mom was so pissed at my dad and I when she first saw the car and found out how much we paid. more so @ my dad cuz she thought he was being really cheap lol. yeh most kids my age with nice cars are either born with silver spoons in their mouths or just take their car completely for granted and push the car to the brink, I've made a point to be the exact opposite of what is expected of kids my age.
