Audi or Other

I need to buy a DD for the winter, my options are, send about 8k on an audi a4 or buy something for around 3k such as a saturn/kia etc. Should i spend more and get the audi or drive around in a piece of shit. Even if i buy the 3k car im not guna save the 5k for mods on the TA, i know someone will suggest that haha.

i went on audiforums.com and made a few posts.......noone responded in a few days, the only response i got was in my member introduction.....i made the introduction told everyone i had an ls1 blah blah blah .....noone responded in a couple days so i said "guess this forum isnt to active.........."

There is no comparison between an Audi and a Subaru. They are two entirely different kinds of cars. Japanese cars are economy cars. German cars are well refined, tight handling machines made with much higher quality materials. Just shut the door on one, or driver over a bump and listen to how much more solid the cars are made. My wife has an 03 a4 quattro with the sport package and it easily out handles my SS with aftermarket springs and bilstein shocks...with a much softer ride. Parts are more expensive, but you definitely get what you pay for. Get the four popper and take it up to APR and let them flash it. You won't regret it. We've put 35,000 miles on her's since we've had it and the only repairs we've had to do to it was a $35 ignition coil.
