nice formula man, saying you own a Firebird Formula just sounds so much more bad ass than Trans Am. Just my IMO, please dont tear me a new hole, lol.

Yeah, when I tell people that I own a Formula, they get that dumb look on their face, huh??? Then I gotta explain its a trans am yada, yada, yada. I like the trans am, but not all the extra body kit to it like the formula

hahahaaaa story of my friends life. He has a '99 formula. He gets dumb comments all the time such as:
is that a V6?
is that a T/A?
whats a firebird formula?
and my favorite >> Why didn't get you a trans am? - they are faster than firebirds
some people are soooo uneducated when it comes to formulas.

I remmber my first ride in a Formula. I was 16 and it was a 94 fully loaded. It was my moms best-friends and it had this performance switch w/ the automatic tranny to hold the shifts longer. Needless to say, that wasn't all I got to ride and I never forgot the Formula after that.

Looks good man. Rims are sweet, but it looks like it needs to be lowered imo.

I want to but something just isn't sitting right w/ the car. It sits about an inch lower on the passenger side than drivers. Dropped a thread in here earlier and got a reply that GM did that on some of their cars. Took it to the dealer, he couldn't find anything, I put new springs, shock, struts all around, I am afraid if I go to lower it, it may make it worse, I will have tire rub

your car is sexy-
I had 2 formulas previously- my 93 did sag in the passenger rear as well- I suspect that the weight of the spare and jack right there PLUS the torque transfer to the rear end will tend to do that- Im pretty sure they squat down but might twist to the right a little bit- However you said you changed the spring and shocks... so then I would have no idea what the deal is-- i suppose you could heat your springs so the car sits right where you want it at all corners.. i did that and the car is slammed nicely.. tucking 16s a bit in the front and rear- slighty bouncy ride but not enough to bother me- I plan to get coil overs some day

wow what a unique car...looks almost corvette-esque, especially with those wheels and lack of t-top...beautiful and rare...and the black one is real nice too

I do have a question though. Around here, in my town, there's a car that looks like a V6, with the WS.6 hood. I've never seen it on the road, so I haven't got a chance to hear it. What would I need to look for to know if it's a true Forumula or just a V6?
If you can't tell, I'm a little uneducated, but I keep my mouth shut.
