Whats up from Tx. DFW
2000 Firebird Formula hardtop Pewter
Just wanted to share my new Ride I picked up from my buddy I been waiting 8 yrs on this car for him to sell it to me .
Now as he is 64 yr young. He bought the car back in 2004 with 36k miles 8 yrs later car has 45k miles and after $60,000
to build car to its current state parts, labor, tune.. I am the new proud owner of this Awesome car.
The car is very street able. still passes inspection only 373s . But the car runs 6.8s in the 1/8th all motor N/A ( approx 10.7 - 10.8 1/4 mile )
144 60 ft @ 96 MPH on a 15" rim with 27 lbs
How the car looked when i bought it ... Dont get me wrong it was a tough look and i liked it .. But I wanted to get the car looking Custom more than Race look

These Pix are now of the Final Changes of the car. Just a few visual mods nothing over the top but wanted to break up the plainness of the car.. Let me know your guys thoughts good or bad .. The Fender Stripes can be Removed as well..
Painted Calipers red
Smoked Tail lights ( yes forgot 3rd brake but doing it tomorrow )
Added Fender Stripes
and added Ram air to hood in Factory Location ( close as i thought was anyways )
And Final Pix

Couple Vidz
Sound Of Exhaust and other to see the Suspension working, even letting the car roll out then a little gas then to half throttle spinning 2 car lengths marks how it still pulls up in the front .. This is still with stock springs Its the only left stock though

Looks good overall. Not a fan of torque thrust wheels, seems like everyone has them. Nice car though man.

Thanks for Comps
For sure on the TT wheels. I searched for a month for a custom set of wheels for this car Besides the TT wheels because of that reason. But I wanted a 315 in the rear Most wheels I looked at and I looked at a lot was only up to 9 wide at 17" and wanting deep dish, but after looking and looking I did end up with the TT but instead of doing TT2s as it is the most common I did the TT M AR 105 just to be a little different. But over all I like them its not what I pictured in my head but its a pretty decent stance / look. I would really like to do a 1.5 lower on the car but with all the suspension done to the car i would really be throwing all that out the door doing the drop to the car. So i'll just keep the stock springs on it Im thinking about going out to the track with the car all back custom ( stock looking ) with spare tire back in . rear seats back in CD changer back in and the factory front seats back in and the bigger wheels . just to get a Video up . With the very first picture i posted of the car with the Hoosiers @ 27 psi the car launches hard with a best of 144 60 ft. average is 145 - 146 60 ft Running a 6.89 Im sure I cant get that good of a 60 ft with these Nitto but If I can get a 7 flat to a 7.10 flat I would be happy with the weight i added and bigger wheels tires etc.
