02 Artic White Z28 Pictures

Just a few..Still trying to figure out why I cant get the car in foucs on longer shots...Nikon D60...Any Tips?

Couldnt decide between pic 1 or 4 for the cotm entry...I probably wont win anyway but it would be cool to win.

I like that maro. You do the Whistler mod to the headlights? The black accents and wheels really bring out the white. Good job, man!!

Yes I did the whistler mod myself. Tunred out pretty good I think.

I went grilleless because I was seeing SLP grilles everywhere and wanted to be different so I got the holes filled. I think it looks better without a grille anyway

I made a few modifications though, got bored one night and played with some pics
No tips, shaved emblem, and removed the lip on the wheels
Was actually using this as a goal, not exactly the same, but similar

I think the back round is great. But, our white cars aren't done any justice in bright sunlight. They get kind of washed out and that takes away from the cars finish.

Very early morning is the best time to take pictures of white cars.

I actually think the car itself looks best in the 4th picture

I'd take the car back to the location of the first picture first thing after sunrise and take more picture for the COTM

Oh yes, I do see what you are saying about the reflection....Yeah sunrise or even at night would work...

Here are 2 more with better lighting...I took like 20 pictures all on a tri-pod and all on self-timer but 90% came out blurry. I dont know what im doing...Time to go to Books-A-Million and get Nikon D60 for Dummies

Slow shutter spped to give the water a "flowing" motion.
