For those joining us late (TSS). Everyone made the final poll this month to see how that works out. Opinions? What do you guys think? If it stays this way I will go back to having people PM me their submissions though. I preferred that over an open thread. It's easier for me to contact people and work out the size issues than through the posts. I don't like deleting pic's due to size and I'm tired of hosting them. I have 6-8 of this months poll hosted due to the wrong size being posted.

I still have to put some thought into what to do in case of a tie. The more entries the easier it'll be to have a tie. I have an idea but I'd be willing to listen to any you guys have.

I have a question for you sir, on the cotm rules, #9 says something about a thread. What does this mean? Ive never done this before and never really looked into it, i just thought id give it a shot. Also you said something about having mods done to the car. Can voters check that out to help influence their decesion, if so how? Thanks in advance.

when a person wins COTM I have them send me their COTM thread in a PM. All #9 means is I'd like to get that PM in a somewhat timely manner. In other words if you win COTM get me your thread as soon as you can.
I think what you're referring to is I said the mods will judge any grey area on photoshopped pictures as to whether they'll be accepted. I put mods instead of moderators, I just edited it to say moderators.

Thanks for clearing that up Orion. Unfourtunatley, im still not clear on what thread i have to send you if i were to win. The thread that says i won (the voting poll) or i have to make one solely about my car? Thanks again and please forgive me for not understanding, im slow.

Just have a runoff voting for 2-3 days where all members can vote a second time between the members that tied.

Orion, in the future, I feel that you should still remove the owner/screen name associated with the car submission. consider doing as you have done in the past and use numbers to make it anonymous when voting...

I agree, that's a done deal for next month. I'm going back to having people PM me their submission and I'll post it and use numbers again. I just wanted to try it this way once to see if more people would submit if they only had to post to a thread but it didn't make any difference.

it still want remove the buddy system..........we know each other cars

I see it a couple different ways. Most people do know the cars or they tell which one is their car in the BS thread. Using the numbers does help though because not everyone knows which car is which and the biggest deal for me is setting up the poll. It's much easier to go 1-2-3-4-5 ect ect than to have to go copy/paste nicks over so that I don't take the chance of mispelling someones nick or not having the right capital letters in their nick and stuff like that. It just shaves a little time off that part and is easier to organize.

It doesn't completely kill the buddy system, but it does help a lot.
