what size serpentine belt no a/c
hey, my gf has a 99' firebird with a 3.8. just wondering if anybody knows what size belt to get if i took off the a/c compressor. can i just measure with a string??? has anybody with a v6 done this before...

green- 95 firebird
When I tried it with my 3.4 I just ran a string where the belt would go. You could also pick up an idler pulley if they make one for the 3.8.
