    Stock hp

So what is the stock HP on a 01 3800 Camaro and what gains would I get with gutted cats and longtube headers and Y pipe exhaust? I also have a ported TB.

    200hp crank.. stock..

    Maybe 20-30hp with a tune..

You already have an 85mm fly by wire.. Porting it will do nothing..

Like I've said before it's the heads that are holding you back.

Not trying to put your project down here tho..

If you deside to run what you brung and want to find a little more N/A hp..

    Start with the heads.

Port and polish then a shave to raise compression..

The more closely the header tubes match the exhaust port openings the better..

Ls6 springs and 1.6 ratio rockers..

Add your bolt ons, (headers and pipes)..

Have it tuned by a professional..

THAT, should get you some good N/A hp numbers.. Prolly 230-260 ish..

Stall it (if an auto) but the bulk of your torque happens @ around 2500 rpm so choose a stall wisely..

To high and it will hurt you without a cam..

They are a mid to high 14 second car with everything in them..

Completely gutted and with bolt ons they can go mid-high 13's..

I have no idea -- does anyone on the site have either a centrifugal or turbo setup on their V6 F-body?

Also I'm doing headers soon and was gonna gut the cats. My car is already an aggressive loud rumble so is removing the cats gonna make it louder and how many do I have? And how many and where are my O2 sensors so I know what kind of headers to get.

You only have one cat and it will be a little more loud but not much, the 2 front 02 sensors are located in the exhaust manifolds..
