Electronic throttle body conversion
In 1999, they changed the throttle body on v6 fbodys to electronic. In the near future, I want to upgrade to a v8..is it possible to drop the ls1 engine into my car? Do I have to convert the throttle body? Or am I better off selling the car and buying a v8 trans am.

You will need more than a TB to drop an LSx into your car.
The 3800-II fly by wire TB won't bolt to any LSx setup..
No f-body with the LS1 was ever equipt with a fly by wire only 3800-II's..
The entire wire harness and PCM will need changed amoung a number of other things for a 3800 to LS1 swap..

In the long run yes..
But the conversion from v6 to v8 has been done by many folks with success.
