05 Malibu starting issue
My wifes car has a intermittent issue after shutting it off it does not want to start like the fuel psi is bleeding off any thoughts on the issue would be great before I throw a few hundred dollars at it changing the fuel pump.

Check the fuel pressure to see if it's getting any first before changing the pump. I'd start with the fuel filter though.
Can you hear the pump prime?Boost gets you laid, unless your name is Jon.

Is the security light flashing durring those times it does'nt want to start?
What engine?
Does the engine spin when you try to start it?
Does it start then stall out?
Could be the fuel pump or,,, you could be having a Passlock system issue.

Could be an injector leaking down. Definitely time to check the pressure though

Well got a check engine light now did some research and found that the sending unit is bad along with the fuel pump witch works out since no one sells those two parts separate now to waste a pay check.
