Will poly mounts cause vibrating.

Can someone tell me if poly mounts or bushens will cause vibrating compaired to the stock rubber mounts or bushens. Or will the ride be just firmer?

both. Due to the poly being a tougher material that will make a more firm ride + distribute typical vibrations through-out the chassis

they are a pita...ive got poly in my LCA's and trans mount, and rod ends in th panhard bar...it rides like sh*t lol....handles like a dream though

That's what I thought.I have them on my 69 pickup and on my 77 camaro and I have vibration and hard ride, I removed them from the front of my truck and installed rubber back and there is a better ride with the rubber. I will be removing the poly bushens from both, thanks for the info.

I don't mean to hijack the thread (especially w/ such a newb question) but how exactly are poly mounts helpful? I was told I should put in poly engine/tranny mounts with an upcoming header install. Thanks!
