for a show car, mild dd, or cruiser i would go ceramic. a lil less stopping power, alotta less noise, and alotta lest dust. metals stop better and get dirty alot faster. metal would be my choice for harder brake action. i just personally like the ceramics because they are plenty for my kind of use... for now.

Metalics are noisey!!! go ceramic. I have metalics on my 97 that I did the ls1 brake upgrade on and I am about over them. They don't stop that great until you put some heat into them and then they get loud once the heat is in them. For the street go ceramic.
