Wheel Hop
Please give me some info on how to stop rear end wheel hopping. I have a ws6 with eibach pro kit, kyb agx shocks, 18" rear wheels. I have all the sub frame hardware installed, panhard rod, and rear control arms are set to lower hole in bracket. I have only run street tires with this set up also. What do I need to address first to try to get this to stop. ??

On the LCA brackets are they the stock ones or the after market reloaction brackets? Also do you still have the factory torque arm?

The brackets don't appear to be new. They are welded on an have 2 hole to choose from. Sounds stock? I also think it has the stock TA also. Everything that was added are all new red BMR parts. I was looking at a replacement bolt on TA that looks like it would help. I do think my tires are an issues also.

Here check out this web site there for spohn relocation brackets. They have three holes in them http://www.spohn.net/?action=product&pid=1017 . Replaceing the TA with a non transmission mounted one well greatly help traction. Also tires well help too.

triple-black- 2000 CamaroSS convertible
gut feeling... 18" have lots of mass + inertia when rotating.
With the prokits, not sure your shocks can handle the spring rate + weight of wheels.
I think a better shock will solve the problem, or try putting the shock to a stiffer setting.
wheel hop happens when a shock cannot handle the spring rate, ie overwhelmed by the forces and can't dampen it.Eugenio_SS
almost stock triple-black 2000 SS convertible with 17x11s on all 4 w/ 315s at the track or on the street with 18x10.5s on all 4 w/ 315s: (1), (2)

Wheel hop in Fbods relates falls almost completely into the domain of the torque arm. the stock stamped unit is a POS.
Spon makes a good inexpensive unit. but in my opinion the Unbalanced engineering is the best one and the 3rd and 4th gen road race drivers for CMC and American Iron on the West coast consider Jason's unit the best one.

Wheel hop on acceleration will prolly be cured w any good unit, hop on downshift Braking is very hard to cure in F bods and we always said it's cheaper to replace brake pads then motors

I'd agree with posting above. Check your shock settings and possibly try borrowing a smaller rim to see how it drives.
I have a similar setup with 17" 315's out back and my wheel hop has been reduced significantly since the suspension upgrades. Not sure best agx setup, but I'm playing around to find my best driveability settings. Currently 6fr 8r setting right now, to try out.
