Same here, although we would like to go with a manual rack. Who makes these??? Or, a power rack???

I have a good stock rack here in PA, but I'm running the Pinto manual rack in mine.

Well, we're guilty of not hearing of PA Racing. We need a manual rack for the '99 Firebird that will withstand some punishment on the car. Remember, this car has a traditional SBC in it, not one of the newer design motors.

The same will apply to the spindles on the car.

On the rotors, we'll have to have them drilled to 5 on 5, unless someone also offers these out of their inventory.

I have a friend that has a sbc in his, with the stock k-member and rack. Had to cut back towards the windshield to fit it. The manual pinto rack has over a full turn each way on the steering wheel. Gear reducted. As far as punishment, I give it the best !!! LOL !!!

Went with the new design UMI front suspension setup.

What's the verdict on the PA Racing racks and spindles?

I'm running the stock spindles at the moment. I like the rack though and as far as the k-member, I bought it, because it was a good deal ! The fitment was right on !

Need to shy away from stock spindles if at all possible. Everything suspension wise will be new, front and back, including the rearend, brakes, everything.

We are pulling the front suspension starting today, so we need to buy a strut compressor. We see there are different designs, so which one is correct for this?
