What is the lowest I can go with SLP longtubes???
So I'll be doing to suspension work here shortly and I want to go as low as possible with the SLP lt's. I've had in mind to just go with the pro kit, but can I go any lower? I love the look of the sportlines, I had them on my '91, and could never get over them. SO what do you guys suggest? I'm hoping for responses from people with experience and peoples opinions on what would look good.
Thanks.
Oh and I searched two different sites and found nothing.Last edited by KissMyWhiteSS; 02-07-2007 at 02:54 AM.

do the pro kit. I cant get a jack under it with out riding up 2x4s first. auto car washes are a no no. your limited... not tryin to make a decision for you the sport kit looks good but you lose alot of your manhood. I have pics of mine somewhere on here. if you search... a few pics of my 2002 ws6

I dropped mine an inch or so
I still have the factory exhaust on my car. I dropped my car about an inch with Granatelli springs a couple years ago. I love the ride of the springs, but most parking lot speed bumps have received minor injuries from my car.
I make my girlfriend get out of the car when we are in parking lots and she only weighs 120lbs, but it seems to make a differnece. Keeping tire pressure between 32 and 34lbs seems to help too.
I finally figured out that going over speed bumps a little bit faster keeps me from scraping. Creeping over speed bumps always results in a scrape.
In short, Its almost impossible to lower these cars even a small amount and not hit something everwhere you go!
