Vogland is the company that manufactures Strano springs, but Sam has the spring rate right.
The Blue colored Vogland (Strano's are white) sping rates are wrong for our cars imo, but I do agree with Blue28 they are better than the Eibach.

ok, so if i find these in for a good price it wouldnt be a bad buy then? My car is a DD with an occasional Track visit. I do plan on driving the Nordschleife aka Nurmburgring . Getting my car set up first. Yeah i would love some konis, but yeah, try to justify $1000 for shocks to my wife! Either bilstiens or tokicos for me, depending which one i can find a good deal for and either Stanos or Vogtlands.

The Strano's have a 550 lb.in. front, and 150 lb.in., both linear spring rates, w/1.2" drop.
Here's the Vogtlands:

IMO, get the Bilstein shocks, they're a better shock then the Tokicos.Last edited by Blue28; 09-28-2010 at 01:31 PM.

Stranos have a linear spring rate in the rears only. They are only linear when the rear suspension is in full 'droop'. This is for the off chance that a car goes over a bump/jump and the suspension is fully extended with some aftermarket springs the risk is that they could fall out of the rear perch.
The Vogtlands have a full linear rate which is impossible to tune/predict/acount for no matter which damper (shock) you select.

I am checking with Ed to see if they are or are not still a sponsor. On the sponsor page, they are not listed as a current sponsor, despite their icon next to the suspension forum. One source is obviously wrong, waiting for Ed to confirm with me.

Well i got the Vogtlands in and installed today and so far they feel really good. They handle the cobble stones on post pretty well. What i like so far is that the nose dives at even light braking has stopped. I dont have my ass end go up when i stop and no squat when i take off at normal driving around post. i mean come on, 30 kph (like 20 mph) is slow and i shouldnt have too much suspention movment anyway lol. They look good too. I kept my isolators in the rear. I like that it didnt slam the rear. i dont think ill do the heater hose mod. I like the look of the rear. It dropped it enough so that i cant get all 4 of my fingers between the fender and the tire anymore LOL

Glad to hear you like them, they're definitely a better lowering spring then the Eibachs.
BTW, can you give us a full side view photo of the car after lowering?

I agree with above, give us a full shot. What shocks/struts did you go with? The height in the front looks awesome.
