Are Konis really worth the extra coin?

I know it's more coin but look into hollow sway bars. The lighter your suspension is the better it can do its job. Also compare the hd's to the bilstein slp's. It's been a while but there was debate which people preferred.

Absolutely
I did mine 3 yrs ago and went with Strano Springs, Koni S/A's (4/4) and a set of Sam's Hollow Swaybars. These parts alone totally transformed the car and should be the first things you purchase along with an Adj. Panhard bar. Everything else can be added at a later time.Craig

Sways and adjustable LCAs are going to be my next suspension purchase.. I absolutely love the konis already.. Now I dont feel like I have to hold on to the steering wheel with my life at all times. Its been said before, but 'confidence inspiring' is the best way to describe them.

hope you dont mind going to try borrowing this thread for a question...
not planning on ever doing serious racing is there a justifiable reason to go with koni 4/4 over the 4/3 i understand it has more dampening settings but really for everyday street driving is it really necessary?

Can I just replace the rear sway and leave the front stock?

Don't cut corners. You are better off just waiting and doing it once and doing it right.
